HELLO
I’m glad you've found your way here. I’d like to start by thanking you! My artwork has been very personal for many years. Sharing it - and finding that people out there enjoy it - means the world
to me.
I grew up in Hamilton, Ohio, surrounded by open fields and large yards to play in. I attended small, private grade schools and a small high school. My world was quiet and comfortable. All along the way, drawing was something I was passionate about. I would trace pictures from books, look at art in the house, and try to copy it freehand. When I left Hamilton for college, I moved to Cincinnati and attended Mount St. Joseph University. College by the city was very different from my quiet life in the country. I used my lines as an outlet - actually more of an escape. It became meditative, therapeutic, and deeply personal. I was reluctant to share.
In 2010, I graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and two minors in photography and web design. Today, I am a full-time Adaptation Design Manager at a design studio in Covington, Kentucky. I also live in Northern Kentucky with my husband, our four children, and two dogs. With settling down - and my husband's insistent support, I’ve been able to spend more time drawing. It’s been so nice to draw out of happiness rather than an escape. I hope you, too, can find a little bit of peace looking at my artwork. I recommend finding a place to start then trying to follow it through. Enjoy!
